SERIES RECORD
Detroit leads the overall series with Indiana State, 3-0. The last time these two teams faced each other, the Titans claimed a 72-67 victory on Dec. 7, 1985 in Terre Haute, IN. This will mark the first time the Titans and the Sycamores will square-off in Detroit as UDM is 2-0 on ISU's home court and 1-0 on neutral ground.
ABOUT INDIANA STATE
Indiana State heads into Tuesday's match-up having lost its first two games of the 2008-09 campaign. The Sycamores opened at Central Michigan on Nov. 15 and dropped an 84-83 decision to the Chippewas and then fell by a score of 77-53 to Marquette (Nov. 19) in Terre Haute, IN.
VS. RANKED TEAMS
The Detroit Titans made history on Nov. 22 as UDM defeated #23 Georgia by a score of 70-66 at Calihan Hall. This marked the first time since the conference changed its name to the Horizon League (2001-02) in which the Titans defeated a ranked opponent. UDM now owns a 1-11 mark in this category.
GOING BACK IN TIME
Detroit's win over Southeastern Conference member school, Georgia, was the first win against an SEC school since Nov. 23, 1979 when the Titans defeated Louisiana State by a score of 84-76 in Detroit. Prior to Saturday's victory, the Titans had lost 13-straight to SEC schools.

Zemora Davis led all scorers with 20 points after a 9-of-19 showing from the field in Detroit's victory over Georgia this past Saturday.
MULROY'S MAKING A MARK
Detroit junior
Brigid Mulroy set a new career-high in points (15) and rebounds (6) against the Bulldogs on Nov. 22. Mulroy also made a personal-best six field goals in Detroit's win.
COACHING DEBUT AT HOME
Autumn Rademacher coached her first game for the Titans on UDM's home court against #23 Georgia and Detroit came out on the winning end, 70-66. Since the start of UDM women's basketball (1977-78), Rademacher and the eight full-time head coaches prior, now own a collective 4-5 record in their coaching debut on Detroit's home court.
DOUBLE TROUBLE

Lauren Allen collected her first career double-double as she netted a team third-best 13 points and tied for a game-high 11 rebounds against Georgia (Nov. 22). Allen also dished out a team second-best five assists.

LAST TIME OUT
With just eight seconds left in the game, Detroit junior
Heather Hatter faced a one-and-one situation and she sank both attempts to help secure UDM's 70-66 win over #23 Georgia on Nov. 22 in Autumn Rademacher's head coaching debut at Calihan Hall.
With 9:49 remaining in the game, Detroit (1-2) pushed its lead to 10 for the second time after freshman
Lauren Allen made one of her five field goals of the night to have the scoreboard read, 54-44.
Georgia (2-1) was able to tie the score at 64 with a minute and a half left after junior Ashley Houts netted a 2-pointer, but the Titans regained their lead and never looked back. In the closing minute, UDM senior
Zemora Davis, who scored a game-high 20 points, hit a key jumper and the Titans were 4-of-4 from the line to help clinch the 4-point victory over nationally-ranked Georgia.

Sandi Brown netted a 2-pointer to give the Titans a four-point advantage (21-17) with just under 10 minutes left in the stanza. Brown added two more points about a minute later and junior
Brigid Mulroy then collected a 2-point bucket to keep Detroit in the lead (25-21) over the Bulldogs. Georgia sophomore Angela Puleo hit one from long range to tie the game at 32 with 31 seconds left, but Mulroy responded as she nailed a trey with eight seconds on the clock to send the Titans into the break with a 3-point advantage (35-32).
Allen collected her first career double-double with a team third-best 13 points and tied for a game-high 11 rebounds, all of which were on the defensive end. Mulroy set a new career-high with a team second-best 15 points after shooting 60 percent from the field and also added a personal-best six caroms for the Titans. UDM freshman
Jalesa Jones tied for a game-high six assists, while Allen dished out a team second-best five helpers for the Titans.
Detroit shot 48 percent on the night (29-of-61), while the Bulldogs had a 28-of-76 showing from the field (37 percent).
SEEING DOUBLE
For the second time this season, three Titans scored in double figures as
Brigid Mulroy (15),
Zemora Davis (20) and
Lauren Allen (13) accomplished this feat against Georgia. The first time it happened was against Cincinnati (Nov. 14) as Davis poured in a team-high 17 points, while Mulroy and freshman
Jalesa Jones each added 11 and 10, respectively.
NEW LOGO
The University of Detroit Mercy Athletic Department officially unveiled its bright, bold new logo on Aug. 15, 2008. The new insignia for Detroit Titan Athletics - designed by a Detroit-based firm, Starr Constand - replaces a logo which has been in use since 1993.
CALIHAN HALL
This past summer the court in Calihan Hall received a makeover as the floor was resurfaced to highlight the Titans new athletic logo prominently in the center of the court. In addition, the Horizon League logo has been moved to each free throw lane, consistent with the courts throughout the conference.
DETROIT INKS THREE
UDM head coach Autumn Rademacher announced that three student-athletes have signed National Letters of Intent to play for the Titans, beginning with the 2009-10 season. The signees are: Demeisha Fambro (G, 5-9, Detroit, MI/Crockett Tech), Kassandra Hooten (F, 6-0, Moorhead, MN/Moorhead) and Cherridy Thornton (F, 6-1, Detroit, MI/Frank Cody Senior).
FINAL FOUR IN DETROIT
The University of Detroit Mercy will serve as the host institution for the 2009 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Final Four, which will be held on April 4 & 6, 2009 at Ford Field in Detroit, MI.
