The “Titan 2-Minute Drill” – a new weekly radio segment featuring Detroit Titans head basketball coach Ray McCallum – will make its debut on WDFN-AM on Tuesday.
The “Titan 2-Minute Drill” will be a staple throughout the college basketball season on WDFN, Sports Radio 1130, which has served as the flagship station for Titan game broadcasts for 11 years. Coach McCallum and host Matt Dery will take time out each week to talk about the Titans, the Horizon League and college basketball issues of the day.
The show will air three times each Tuesday on WDFN – once on the Matt Shepard morning show (6:00-9:00 a.m.), once during Sean Baligian's program that immediately follows (9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.), and once again during the Stoney & Wojo Show in the afternoon (3:00-6:00 p.m.).
In his first season at the Titans' helm, coach McCallum has quickly shown the wit and basketball expertise that will make his new show a hit with Titan diehards and all college basketball fans as well.
McCallum's Titans come off an exciting 62-57 victory over Saint Louis and now travel to UW-Milwaukee on Thursday for their 2008-09 Horizon League opener.
