SECOND IN A ROW
This marks the second-straight year in which Detroit has traveled to the Hawkeye State as the Titans played at Northern Iowa on Nov. 30, 2007 and fell by a score of 62-35. Detroit also played at Iowa two days later where the Titans dropped a 65-42 decision.

COULDN'T MISS
Senior Sandi Brown was perfect from the charity stripe at Albany on Dec. 1 as she made all six of her attempts to tie her career-high of made free throws.

FROM THE FIELD

Freshman Lauren Allen shot 60 percent from the field (6-of-10) at Albany on Dec. 1, which was a game second-best showing of made field goals.

SHE DID IT AGAIN
On Nov. 29 at Colgate, junior Brigid Mulroy led all scorers for the second game in a row as she poured in 16 points after shooting 7-of-16 from the field. In Detroit's match-up against Indiana State four days earlier, Mulroy scored a game-high and a personal-best 21 points.

LAST TIME OUT
In its third game in five days, the University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball team faced Bowling Green State University and fell by a score of 72-42 on Dec. 3 at Anderson Arena in Bowling Green, OH.
After being down by 12 in the opening minutes of the first half, Detroit pulled within three at the 11:34 mark after scoring nine unanswered points to put the score at 14-11. During the run, UDM junior Brigid Mulroy  converted a three-point play, while junior Chanica Hall scored four points.     BGSU, which scored 12 treys on the night, poured in three straight 3-pointers at one point from three different players to take a 23-13 advantage with just over nine minutes remaining. Mulroy made a jumper at 6:36 to narrow BGSU's lead to 27-18, but in the next 5:20 neither team was able to score a basket. Falcon redshirt junior Niki McCoy ended the scoring drought as she made both free throw attempts at 1:26 and BGSU ended up going into the break with a 34-18 advantage.
Junior Heather Hatter started the scoring for either team in the second stanza as she netted a 2-pointer in the opening minute. This put BGSU's lead at 34-20, which was the closest the Titans would get the rest of the contest. The Falcons went up by 20 with just under 10 minutes remaining and kept at least a 20 point lead the rest of the way.
