SERIES RECORD
Detroit owns a 5-28 overall record against Green Bay, which includes a 1-15 mark when playing on the Phoenix home court. Green Bay has won the past 11 meetings, which includes a 71-51 victory on March 8, 2008. The last time the Titans defeated the Phoenix was in Detroit by an overtime score of 56-50 on Jan. 24, 2004 and the lone win for UDM in Green Bay was on March 9, 1997 by a score of 63-55.
ABOUT GREEN BAY
Green Bay owns an overall record of 11-3 and is 4-2 when playing at home this season. The Phoenix is on a three-game winning streak, all of which have been Horizon League match-ups, and in its last contest Green Bay defeated Youngstown State in Ohio by a score of 62-42 on Jan. 10. The Phoenix have not played on its home court since it dropped a 60-49 decision to ILS on Dec. 13. Lavesa Glover averages a team-best 11.2 points per game for Green Bay, while Erin Templin leads the Phoenix with 5.8 rpg.
RADEMACHER RETURNS
Green Bay fans will see a familiar face on Detroit's bench on Thursday in first-year Titan head coach, Autumn Rademacher. She was an assistant coach for the Phoenix from 2004-08 and, during her tenure, Green Bay won four conference regular-season championships, as well as two post-season titles (2005 and '07).

OVERTIME AT CALIHAN
Detroit's overtime game against Valparaiso on Jan. 10 marked the first time the Titans played an extra session at Calihan Hall since a 74-73 setback against Milwaukee on Jan. 27, 2005.

LAST TIME OUT

Sandi Brown scored four points in the last minute to help force overtime, but the Titans came up short in the extra session against Valparaiso to fall by a final score of 70-65 in a Horizon League match-up at Calihan Hall on Jan. 10.
In overtime, junior
Chanica Hall scored a lay-up with 1:53 remaining to put the score at 66-65 in favor of the Titans, but Valpo senior Leah Hochstetler responded seconds later with a 3-pointer to give the Crusaders the lead again. With 26 seconds left, senior Aimee Litka made both of her attempts at the line to help clinch the victory for Valpo as Detroit freshman
Jalesa Jones missed her attempt from beyond the arc to tie the game with six seconds left.
After being down by eight in the second half, Detroit used a 13-0 scoring run to push ahead of the Valpo, 53-48, following two made free throws from Brown, who led the Titans in scoring with 16 points. Valpo had a 61-57 advantage after Hochstetler hit a 3-pointer, but Brown's two baskets, with assists from junior
Brigid Mulroy and Jones, tied the game at 61 at the end of regulation.
Valparaiso led the first seven minutes of the opening half, but a 3-pointer from freshman
Lauren Allen pushed the Titans ahead by one (12-11) at the 13:32 mark. The Crusaders took their largest lead of the first half with just over eight minutes remaining after senior Launa Hochstetler sank one from long range to put the score at 24-17.
Detroit then responded with a 14-2 scoring run in the next 4:33 to pull ahead, 31-26, for its largest lead of the first stanza. During this stretch, Hall scored seven points and she dished out an assist to Allen who capped off the scoring run for the Titans, but Valpo led, 35-31, at the break.
Three other Titans scored in double figures in Hall, who shot 7-of-10 from the field to end with a team second-best 15 points, Mulroy (13) and Jones (12). Brown also grabbed a team-best seven rebounds.
Detroit shot 44 percent on the day (26-of-59), while Valpo shot 25-of-61 from the field (41 percent). The Crusaders had a 39-28 advantage on the boards and also tallied 12 steals to UDM's 10.
WHERE ARE THE TITANS?

ANOTHER FIRST
In her first Horizon League game at the helm of the Detroit Titans women's basketball program, head coach Autumn Rademacher notched a 71-64 win at Loyola on Jan. 3.
DOUBLE OR NOTHING
Two Titans registered double-doubles against Loyola on Jan. 3 in redshirt freshman

Sandi Brown. Washington scored a team-high 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while Brown pulled down a game-high 11 caroms and poured in 12 points.
GIVING TO CHARITY
The Titans made a season-high 22 free throws against Loyola on Jan. 3 and ended with a 67 percent showing from the line. In the final 34 seconds against the Ramblers, Detroit made seven of eight free throw attempts to help secure its first Horizon League victory of the season.
TWO EXTRA SESSIONS
Prior to Detroit's 76-75 double-overtime win at Eastern on Dec. 20, 2008, the last time the Titans played in a double overtime contest was a 107-102 setback to Kentucky on Dec. 28, 1983 in Detroit.
PLENTY OF POINTS
The 76 point showing at Eastern Michigan on Dec. 20 marks the most points the Titans have scored in a single game since a 78-65 victory against Wright State in Detroit on Feb. 19, 2004.
VS. RANKED TEAMS
The Detroit Titans made history on Nov. 22 as UDM defeated #23 Georgia by a score of 70-66 at Calihan Hall. This marked the first time since the conference changed its name to the Horizon League (2001-02) in which the Titans defeated a ranked opponent. UDM now owns a 1-11 mark in this category.
GOING BACK IN TIME
Detroit's win over Southeastern Conference member school, Georgia, was the first win against an SEC school since Nov. 23, 1979 when the Titans defeated Louisiana State by a score of 84-76 in Detroit. Prior to Saturday's victory, the Titans had lost 13 straight to SEC schools.
COACHING DEBUT AT HOME
Autumn Rademacher coached her first game for the Titans on UDM's home court against #23 Georgia and Detroit came out on the winning end, 70-66. Since the start of UDM women's basketball (1977-78), Rademacher and the eight full-time head coaches prior, now own a collective 4-5 record in their coaching debut on Detroit's home court.
DOUBLE TROUBLE
Freshman
Lauren Allen collected her first career double-double as she netted a team third-best 13 points and tied for a game-high 11 rebounds against Georgia (Nov. 22). Allen also dished out a team second-best five assists.
DETROIT INKS THREE
UDM head coach Autumn Rademacher announced that three student-athletes have signed National Letters of Intent to play for the Titans, beginning with the 2009-10 season. The signees are: Demeisha Fambro (G, 5-9, Detroit, MI/Crockett Tech), Kassandra Hooten (F, 6-0, Moorhead, MN/Moorhead) and Cherridy Thornton (F, 6-1, Detroit, MI/Frank Cody Senior).
FINAL FOUR IN DETROIT
The University of Detroit Mercy will serve as the host institution for the 2009 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Final Four, which will be held on April 4 & 6, 2009 at Ford Field in Detroit, MI.
