HL Cross Country Championship Website
UDM students, Titans fans and alums have the opportunity to make Halloween a bit more special this year by coming out to root for the Detroit men’s and women’s cross country program as they pursue a Horizon League Championship.
The event, hosted by UDM, will take place on Saturday at Kensington Metropark in Milford, with the men’s 8k race going off at 11 a.m., and the women’s 5k to follow at noon. The race will be held at the Playfield East/Possum Hollow area of the park.
There will be no charge for the championships, but there is a $4 entrance fee into Kensington.
Park of the festivities will include a “Trick or Treat with Tommy Titan” kid’s race with two special races for children. The first is a 1-mile run for all kids, 13 and under (8th grade), while the other race will be a “Fun Run”, open to all children, down the final 100m of the course.
