The last time a Detroit player was tabbed as a conference player of the week was during the 2006-07 campaign when Joyce Massey earned the honor the week of Nov. 13-19.
The Titans, seeded eighth in the 2009 Speedway Horizon League Championship, hosts #9 Loyola on March 9 in the first round, with tip-off set for 7 p.m.
