The UDM Titan Club announced the schedule for its 2009 Board of Directors election today. The Titan Club (the booster organization for promotion of Titan Athletics) is led by a Board of Directors chosen from the club's general membership. Board members serve three (3) year terms (one year for the two Under 35 years of age seats), meet monthly, and work to support UDM athletic teams.
To be eligible for election to the Board of Directors, an individual must have been a member of the Titan Club during the 2008-09 academic year. This year four Directors and two Under 35 Directors are to be elected (Please note that individuals under 35 years of age can also run for the open Director seats).
To nominate a member for the 2009 ballot, call or email Greg Haapala in the Titan Athletic Office (PH: 313-993-1700, or Email: greg.haapala@udmercy.edu). Self nominations are permissible. Please include the name, telephone number, email address, and address of the nominee. The deadline for submissions is 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2009.
