Vushaun Landrum (Windsor, ON/Sandwich Secondary) ended a busy weekend with a ninth-place effort in the 200-meters as the Canadian Junior Track and Field Championships came to an end on Sunday at the University of Prince Edward Island in Charlottetown, PEI.
Landrum earned the top 10 finish with a time of 22.08 in the first heat of the 200m finals, improving his time of 22.37 that he posted in Saturday’s preliminaries.
For the weekend, Landrum made the finals and top 10 in both the 100 and 200m, placing seventh in the 100m in 11.05 on Saturday.
The reigning Titan Rookie of the Year in both indoors and outdoors, Landrum scored for Detroit as a freshman in the Horizon League Championships taking third in the 60m in the indoor championships in 7.06 as well as fourth in the outdoor league meet 200m in 21.82.
