Fresh off an outstanding performance at last weekend’s MSU Spartan Classic, the Titan men’s golfers travel to DePaul this weekend to participate in the John Dallio Memorial.

Champions in 2007b and third in the same tournament a year ago as Titan teammates Britt Pronk and David Byrne finished 2-3 in the individual standings, Detroit will once again encounter a field of big-name opponents from various major conferences. The field includes representatives of the Big East, Atlantic-10, Missouri Valley and Ohio Valley Conferences, as well as Horizon League foes Loyola Chicago and Wright State.
The Titans missed a share of third place at Michigan State by just one stroke last weekend as Byrne tied for third place individually at 5-under-par 208, while junior Jeff Clarridge finished 10th at even-par 213. Those two will be rejoined in the UDM lineup this week by Pronk, freshman Simon Reyers and sophomore Mark Hicks, as the Titans put together their “Canadian 5” grouping for the second straight event.
