The Detroit Titans men’s lacrosse team is less than a month away from their season opener as the team returned to practice this week following the holiday break.
UDM made its way to Ultimate Soccer Arena in Pontiac to take advantage of the indoor practice facilities. The arena will also serve as the site for the home opener against Bellarmine on Saturday Feb. 6, in what will be the first Division I collegiate lacrosse game of the season. Tickets will go on sale on the day of the game for $10.
In the fall, Detroit participated in the 3rd Annual Nick Colleluori Classic coming away with a 9-7 win over St. Joseph’s in the first of a two-game scrimmage that also saw the Titans fall to Lafayette.
Detroit will have seven home games in its second year and will be part of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Lacrosse League. For home games played on Titan Field, tickets will start out at $5.
