Off a dominating second half performance that saw Detroit rout Milwaukee, the UDM men's basketball team will look to make it a sweep in Wisconsin as the Titans face Green Bay on Saturday at the Resch Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. (EST).

The Titans (12-6, 5-2 HL) rebounded from a heartbreaking loss to Butler to see sophomore
Chase Simon go off for a career-high 33 points in the winning effort against the Panthers. Simon now leads the team in scoring at 13.3 ppg.
Green Bay has the same exact record as Detroit at 12-6, 5-2 in the conference with losses at Milwaukee and at Butler. Rahmon Fletcher tops the team in scoring and is second in the conference at 17.1 ppg. Bryquis Perine is second at 13.1 ppg., while Randy Berry is averaging 7.6 ppg., and 7.2 rpg, and is also tied for the league lead with six double-doubles.
DETROIT VS GREEN BAY
Saturday's contest marks the 37th meeting between Detroit and Green Bay, with Titans ahead in the overall series, 19-17. Green Bay has won four straight in the affair. UDM is also 7-9 all-time on the road against the Phoenix.
BATTLE FOR SECOND
Eight Horizon League games will be in the books for both sides after this weekend, making this a crucial game that could determine post-season seeding. Both squads enter the game at 5-2 so this marks a match-up for second place in the league, a finish that gives the top two teams in the conference a two-game bye into the semi-finals of the HL tournament.
TITAN TEAMMATES TOPPING 20
For the second time this season, UDM had a pair of players top 20 points in the same game. At Milwaukee, sophomore
Chase Simon netted a career high 33 points, while junior
Xavier Keeling notched 20.
Detroit accomplished the feat for the first time in two years on Nov. 20 against Albany as Keeling had 21 points and sophomore
Eli Holman rang up 20 points.
CHASE'S 30 AND A DOZEN
Sophomore
Chase Simon has been scorching teams the last three games. He is coming off his first career double-double with 33 points, which includes 22 in the second half and 16 straight at one point, and a career best 12 rebounds at Milwaukee. That followed his then career mark of 23 points against Butler and 14 vs. Valparaiso.
In the last three games, Simon is averaging 23.3 ppg., on 53 percent shooting (28-of-50), 56 percent from the outside (8-of-15), and 75 percent from the free throw line (6-of-8). He is also pulling down 7.0 rebounds per game.
CLEANING UP THE GLASS
Detroit outrebounded Milwaukee, 47-31, on Thursday and it was a total team effort.
Chase Simon led the squad with a career best 12 rebounds, while the Titans' leading board man
Eli Holman had nine.
The small guards also chipped in as 5-10
Donavan Foster had a career best eight boards and 5-11
Woody Payne notched a season best seven caroms.
SIMON'S ALL AROUND
Sophomore
Chase Simon has showcased his versatility all season long as the guard has scored in double digits 13 times, posted five or more rebounds 12 times and has handed out four or more assists four times.
He has three 20-point games on the season with his career high of 33 at Milwaukee, 23 against Butler and 22 vs. WMU, a career-best 12 boards at Milwaukee and seven assists versus Alcorn State and Michigan.
The Detroit native currently leads the team in scoring (13.3) and is second on the team in assists (2.6) and rebounding (5.6).

The Titans are not only winning more frequently, they are doing so in impressive style. Nine of Detroit's 12 wins have been by double digits, including four of its five victories in the Horizon League.
