Homecoming Events and Information

Titan fever was in the air as Homecoming Weekend began on Thursday with a pep rally dedicated to the UDM men's basketball team at the Fountain Lounge in the Student Center. The pep rally was put together by the Student Life Office and the Athletic Department.

With Guitar Hero and hand wax demonstrations on display and the Titan pep band and spirit groups leading the cheers, students filled the area in giving an ovation to the Titans, who take on Wright State on Saturday at 2:05 p.m., in a game that will be televised on FOX Sports Detroit.

Head coach Ray McCallum spoke to the students and urged them for their continued support on Saturday and the rest of the year as the Titans battle their way through the Horizon League. The team was then welcomed one by one with senior Woody Payne doing the honors in introducing the squad. The event ended with the Titans handing out game tickets to Saturday's tilt.

Homecoming Saturday will also feature a men's basketball alumni game at 11:00 a.m. and the induction of the 2010 Titan Hall of Fame Class at halftime of the UDM-Wright State contest.
