Senior Brigid Mulroy (West Bloomfield, MI/Marian) tallied the most votes to earn this week's "The People's Choice" honor, again, from the Horizon League Network. Mulroy is currently spotlighted in the featured video on the HLN Web site via phone interview.

Mulroy became eligible for this honor after being selected as the Horizon League Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday for her efforts on the court last week.

Mulroy hit the game-winning shot as time expired against visiting UIC on Jan. 14 to help propel Detroit to a 66-65 win and ended with a game second-best 17 points. She then poured in a game-high 19 points two days later to help UDM clinch a 53-50 victory over Loyola.

She averaged a team-best 18.0 points per game on the week and shot 10-of-14 from 3-point range, which included a flawless 5-for-5 showing against the Flames on Thursday and Mulroy now stands seventh all-time in Detroit's record books with 118 treys. She had a 10-of-15 showing from the field on the week and made all six free throws, including four crucial attempts late in the game against the Ramblers.

Mulroy earned this honor the first time this season on Nov. 19 after being named Horizon League Women's Basketball Player three days earlier.

"The People's Choice" is a weekly segment on HLN that allows fans to choose which athlete they believed had the most outstanding week among the Horizon League's Athletes of the Week. Voting is open from Monday around noon through Tuesday afternoon each week, with an interview with the winner posted on HLN Thursday afternoon.

The Titans will return to action when they face Valparaiso tonight at the Athletics-Recreation Center. Tip-off is slated for 8:05 p.m.
