The Detroit Titan Athletic Department participated in a “Toys for Tots” drive on November 26 – November 28 during the Legends Classic subregional hosted at Calihan Hall.  Titan fans and supporters from the University of Albany, Bowling Green State University and Niagara University all participated in the charitable event.  Hundreds of newly, unwrapped toys were collected during the three-day event put on by the Gazelle Group.

“The Detroit Titans staff, alumni and fans were pleased to participate in the Toys for Tots program during the Thanksgiving weekend Legend's Classic,” said Director of Athletics Keri Gaither.  “It was an opportunity for all who participated to reflect on all we are thankful for and to share our good fortune with others less fortunate. The program was a huge success and it is a wonderful feeling knowing the Detroit Titan family will make so many other families' holiday a little brighter.“

 All donations were greatly appreciated and benefited a great cause during the holiday season.
