DETROIT-- Junior center Eli Holman was recently named the Horizon League Player of the Week and Most Valuable Player of the Legends Classic.  He can now add the National Jesuit Basketball Player of the Week honor to that list.  The Jesuit Basketball Spotlight highlighted Holman's performance last week and chose it to be the top amongst the 28 Jesuit collegiate basketball programs.

Holman, the Titans' leader in points (15.6 )and rebounds (11.3), had a monster week in guiding UDM to a three-game sweep of the Legends Classic held at Calihan Hall last Friday-Sunday.  He posted three straight double-double performances en route to winning the MVP honors at the tournament.  His five double-doubles are tied for the most in NCAA Division I and he is 10th in field goal percentage (.677) and 11th in rebounding in the country.

Holman and the Titans take on Akron tonight at Calihan Hall in the fourth of a five-game homestand.  Tip is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
