INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.-- Horizon League officials confirmed Monday that the Jan. 14 men's basketball matchup with defending league champion and national finalist Butler will tip at 9:00 p.m. on ESPNU.  The tip time will allow a national audience into Calihan Hall for the anticipated battle.

Butler and Detroit were involved in two epic affairs in 2009-10, including a Jan. 10 overtime win (64-62) for the Bulldogs, who would escape with a five-point win at Hinkle Fieldhouse a month later.  BU eventually finished the league slate undefeated and advanced all the way to the NCAA Championship game. 

Butler was the unanimous preseason pick to take the conference title in 2010-11 and the Titans sat second in the poll of the league's coaches.  Check back to detroittitans.com for more information on special events for the Jan. 14 and 16 (Valparaiso) contests planned for campus.
