The Titans (20-13) advanced to the semi-finals after defeating the No. 7 seed Valparaiso (89-82) and three seed Green Bay (62-53). UDM is averaging 75.5 points and shooting 50.5% from the field in the first two games of the tournament, whole holding a +8 rebounding margin over their opponents (38.5-30.5). A win would move the Titans into the championship game for the first time since 2005.

Wright State (19-11) has had a week off since ending the regular season with a 68-63 loss at Cleveland State, but the Raiders' 12-6 mark in league play was good enough to finish second in the standings and earn a double bye into the HL semi-finals. Second team All-Horizon League selection Vaughn Duggins leads the team in scoring at 14.1 ppg, while Todd Brown is tallying 13.1 ppg., and 4.4 rpg.

The winner will face the victor of the Butler-Milwaukee game on Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. on ESPN.

DETROIT VS. WRIGHT STATE
The series is tied at 19 wins apiece, but Wright State has won nine in a row and 10 of the last 11 meetings. The last UDM triumph over WSU was on Feb. 8, 2006, 70-66 in Calihan Hall.

The Titans are 4-2 all-time against the Raiders in the Horizon League tournament, but the programs have met just once outside of the first round/quarter-finals with WSU upending UDM, 76-69, in the semi-finals in 1995.

A WINNING CAMPAIGN
The Titans have already clinched their first winning season in six years (18-13, 2003-04) and have now reached 20 wins for the first time since going 25-12 in 2000-01.

This season has marked a 13-win improvement over last year, making it the biggest turnaround in Titan history. Prior to that, the biggest turnaround between seasons was nine wins, done by the 1959-60 squad (11 wins to 20) and the 1997-98 team (16 wins to 25).

The +13 margin is also the third best turnaround in the nation following Coastal Carolina's +17 (11 last season, 28 this year) and Loyola Marymount's +14 (three wins to 17).
