Men’s Lacrosse Skills Camp Takes Over Titan Field

It was another fun-filled camp hosted by the University of Detroit Mercy as the men's lacrosse skills camp came to an end on Thursday.

“I am happy with the way the camp went and all the excitement it brought,” said head coach Matt Holtz. “I hope the kids took a lot out of all the drills and lessons that went on and went home better lacrosse players and Titan fans.”

The participants enjoyed a thrilling and exhausting three-day event on Titan Field as the UDM coaches and student-athletes were on hand teaching and training the young lacrosse players. All of those in attendance were introduced to a variety of team and individual drills. The morning session saw both tactical and individual situations, while the afternoon dealt mostly with team and specialized play.

Each day also featured giveaways, prizes and games.

The camp was the second and last of the summer for the men's lacrosse program, which also hosted a team travel camp back in June.
