Along with McCallum, the hour-long segment featured several other Division I head coaches including Paul Hewitt of Georgia Tech, Central Michigan's Ernie Zeigler, Matt Painter of Purdue, Butler's Brad Stevens and brothers Jason (Appalachian State) and Jeff Capel (Oklahoma).

McCallum is entering his third season as head coach of the Titans and has quickly turned Detroit back into a Horizon League contender. UDM posted the best turnaround in school history, and the fourth best turnaround in the nation, in 2010 with a 20-14 record, a 13-win improvement from his first season. The 20 victories also represented Detroit's first 20-win campaign since 2001.
