ON TAP
The Detroit Titans remain in Ohio and will face Youngstown State Saturday night on the back half of a doubleheader.  Detroit is looking to shake-off a three-game slide, their longest streak since the 2008-09 season.

ABOUT YOUNGSTOWN STATE
The Penguins have scuffled through the league slate thus far, winning just one game in the Horizon League.  That victory (71-69) came on Dec. 30 to still league-winless UIC.  YSU is led by Vytas Sulskis, who scores 13.4 points per game and is second in rebounds with a 5.8 clip.

WHAT'S NEXT?
The Titans fly over to Wisconsin next weekend, taking on Milwaukee on Friday night in a nationally-televised affair on ESPNU.  Detroit will look to avenge an 84-81 overtime loss to the Panthers on New Years Day.  In that game, the Titans led by three in the closing seconds of regulation, but a desperation 30-foot thre-pointer sent the game to an extra session.  UDM will battle Green Bay on Sunday, a team it handled 79-56 at Calihan Hall on Dec. 30.

TRIPLE THREAT
The Titans have a three-game losing streak, but all three setbacks have come at the hands of the league's top teams.  The stretch started on Jan. 14 with a loss to Butler then two days later the Titans dropped a decision to first-place Valparaiso.  Thursday, Cleveland State benefited from a late run to remain in a three-way tie for second place.

20 DOUBLE-DOUBLES
Thursday's 16-point, 14-rebound output from junior Eli Holman marked the 20th double-double of the big man's career.  Holman has nine already this season and etched 11 in his first year as a Titan a season ago.  Holman averages 11.6 points and 10.6 rebounds in 2010-11.

ADVANTAGE ELI
With his nine offensive rebounds Thursday, Eli Holman now has 74 offensive boards this season.  That total is more than Youngstown's top two rebounders combined (Damian Eargle- 37, Vytas Sulskis- 31).

AMONG THE NATIONAL LEADERS
Several Titans have their names appear among the NCAA Division I leaders in the Jan. 16 report.  As the time of the release, junior Eli Holman had eight double-doubles, which ranked 20th through games of Jan. 16.  He also was 13th in rebounds per game (10.4).  LaMarcus Lowe was 20th in the NCAA with his 2.7 blocks per game clip.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Nick Minnerath is loving 2011.  At the end of the 2010 calendar year, the junior averaged 7.7 points and 4.6 rebounds.  Since, Minnerath is the team's top scorer with 15.7 points per game and grabs 5.2 boards per contest as well. In that six-game stretch, Minnerath has four games of 16+ points, including three 20+ point games (23 vs. Valparaiso- Jan. 16).

LEADING THE LEAGUE
Eli Holman leads the Horizon League in both offensive (3.9 rpg) and defensive (6.7 rpg) rebounds per game (10.6 total).  He is also second in field goal percentage, connecting on 59.2 percent of his shots (84-of-142) and is 5th in blocks (1.4 bpg).
