DETROIT--  Members of the University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball team helped brighten an otherwise gloomy afternoon Wednesday.  The athletes took advantage of a day without practice to spend time in their community at the Boys and Girls Club in Highland Park, Mich.

Ray McCallum, John Hoskins, Brandon Romain, Chris Blake and Doug Anderson all got a chance to interact with youths and engage them in after-school activities at the center.  

The guys got a chance to show off their Xbox skills and board game prowess.  They also played some pool, Connect Four and all eventually gravitated their way to their comfortable home-- the gymnasium to shoot hoops.

The Titans are proud to be a part of the fabric of their community.
