The Detroit Titan Athletic Department will participate in the well-known “Toys for Tots” program during men's basketball games against Youngstown State on Dec. 1 and Cleveland State on Dec. 3. Fans bringing an unwrapped toy are eligible to receive a buy one, get one FREE ticket to either game.
Toys for Tots' primary goal is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less-fortunate youngsters and assisting them in becoming responsible, patriotic citizens. The U.S. Marine Corp Reserve collects unwrapped toys for Christmas gifts throughout the months of October, November and December. Titan Athletics is proud to be a partner with a long-standing program with a mission that coincides with the University's.
Collection boxes, with stationed Marines, will be located at the northeast and northwest entrances to Calihan Hall. Fans bringing an unwrapped toy will have the opportunity to receive a free reserved seat ticket with the purchase of a reserved seat ticket. For more ticket information, please visit

Fans attending the Cleveland State game on Sat., December 3 will also be treated to the Canine Express Flyball Dogs at halftime-- which is always a family-friendly show! Also, the 2000-01 team will return to Calihan Hall for a special recognition. The athletic department will honor that team that advanced all the way to the National Invitational Tournament (NIT) Final Four in New York.
