CLINTON TWP, Mich. -- The Detroit men's lacrosse team did not have the full weekend off as more than 20 members of the squad took part in a community service project working with Habitat for Humanity last Saturday.
“It was great to be a part of this project and help out,” said freshman
Chris Kelly. “It is always great to help people who are less fortunate and it makes you really appreciate what you have.”
The team got together with other volunteers in Clinton Township and quickly went to work on such items as rebuilding doors, cabinets and working on the front end of the house. It was hands on work for the Titans as the team got down and dirty handling tools, working on the floors and completing home and gardening tasks.
