DETROIT—Single game tickets are now on sale for all Detroit Titan men's and women's basketball games.  Tickets can be purchased at the Titans Ticket Office at 313-993-1700, online at www.detroititans.com/tix or via any Ticketmaster outlet.

Limited tickets are still available for the Dick Vitale Court dedication game, Mon., Dec. 5 against St. John's.  Former head coach and athletic director at the University of Detroit and current ESPN personality, Vitale will be back in Calihan Hall as the new floor will bear his name.  He will be honored in a special pre-game ceremony set to take place at 6:00 p.m. prior to the nationally-televised tip of the game at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN2.

Other key games this season include the season opener this Friday against Lake Erie College and four games in eight nights to start December.  The Titans open Horizon League play on Dec. 1, hosting Youngstown State and follow with perennial league-power Cleveland State two nights later.  Following the St. John's game on Dec. 5, UDM wraps the homestand with a Thurs., Dec. 8 doubleheader.  The Detroit women will play host to Michigan at 5:00 p.m. with the men battling Western Michigan at 7:30 p.m.

The men's slate also includes a Dec. 17 match-up with Mississippi State and a Jan. 8 duel with league-rival and back-to-back national finalist Butler.  The Titans will also host an ESPN BracketBusters contest the weekend of Feb. 17-19 with time and opponent to be announced.

New this season, the UDM athletic department will be employing the use of electronic scanners at entrances.  The system will allow much shorter lines entering Calihan Hall at peak times and will help aid ticket operations personnel in other customer service initiatives.  Detailed reports will be available to ticketing staff to better serve patrons of Calihan Hall. Ticket holders will no longer need to have the stub ripped from the ticket, preserving the ticket intact.
