DETROIT -- For the second time this season, freshman Shareta Brown (Grand Blanc, MI/Grand Blanc) was honored by College Sports Madness.com as its Horizon League Player of the Week. The online publication released this week's award winners on Sunday night.

The honor comes after the rookie led the way for a Titan double-digit win on the road at Ball State as Brown posted 21 points, nine rebounds, a season-high five assists and tied her season best with three steals. She was a perfect 7-of-7 from the field and was 7-of-8 from the free throw line.

Brown was also the College Sports Madness Horizon League Player of the Week on Nov. 14 after she recorded a double-double in her collegiate debut with 25 points and 13 rebounds at Indiana State.

The Titans return to action on Tuesday as Detroit visits in-state rival Michigan State.
