DETROIT VS. WRIGHT STATE
The Titans have won two of the last three meetings, but Wright State ended a Titan two-game winning streak with a 63-62 decision in Dayton back on Jan. 15. UDM still leads the overall series, 20-16.

Detroit is 10-7 against the Raiders in Calihan Hall, but WSU has won three of the last four in the Motor City.

ABOUT THE RAIDERS
Wright State has won six of its last eight games and comes into the contest at 14-8 and 7-4 in Horizon League play, good for third place.

LaShawna Thomas is the team's top scorer at 17.7 points per game, second in the HL, while also leading the league in assists at 6.5 per night. Molly Fox is also among the conference leaders with her 9.9 rebounds per game, second in the conference.

LAST TIME VS. WRIGHT STATE
Sophomore Dominique Dixon led three Titans in double digits with 19 points, and Detroit came back from a 10-point second-half deficit, but it was just not enough as UDM could not get off a shot at the buzzer and fell, 63-62.

Dixon was 8-of-16 from the field on the day. Sophomore Cherridy Thornton had 12 points on four 3-pointers, while sophomore Yar Shayok added 12 points and 11 rebounds.

The Titans were down by one, 63-62, in the final minute of play and had three chances to try and take the lead, but came up short on each possession. With 45 seconds left, junior Britney Murphy stepped on the baseline going to the rim, but she made up for it forcing a WSU turnover on the other end of the court. Detroit got the ball back with 24 seconds on the clock, but junior Jalesa Jones jump shot was too strong and the Raiders corralled the defensive board with 1.5 seconds left.

Just when everyone thought the game was over, the Titan defense stepped up as Thornton forced an offensive charge on the WSU inbound pass giving Detroit the ball back, but with just 1.5 seconds left, UDM could not get off a final shot as time expired.

GOOD NUMBERS VS. WSU
Sophomore Yar Shayok has netted double digits in scoring in all three of her career games against Wright State and is averaging 11.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game.

Junior Lauren Allen is tallying 4.6 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists in five career meetings versus the Raiders, while junior Jalesa Jones has posted five or more assists in her last three games against WSU.

SHAYOK TOP 25 IN REBOUNDING

The Horizon League leader in rebounding, Shayok is averaging 10.5 per game with 13 double-digit rebounding games on the year.

Hatter, the sister of former Titan Heather Hatter (2006-10), ending the game with five points - hitting her first two collegiate field goals including one from three-point territory - along with two assists in 20 minutes.

She came back the next game scoring a season-high six points against Valparaiso.

NEARLY A LONG DISTANCE RECORD

The 10 made triples against the Crusaders at home matched a season best as UDM also hit 10 at Milwaukee on Jan. 2.
