Final Match Results

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - The Detroit Titans hosted the Miami (OH) Redhawks at the Franklin Athletic Club in Southfield, MI earlier this evening.

The Titans fell 7-0 after being swept in both singles and doubles and now sit at 0-6 on the dual campaign.

Sophomore Carolina Salas Espinosa (Monterrey, Mexico/Preparatoria No. 7) and senior Erin Weldon (Kalamazoo, MI/Mattawan) each took their singles matches to a third and deciding set.

Espinosa, in the No. 1 spot, won the second set of her contest 6-2 to force a third set and Weldon, in the No. 6 spot, took her opening set by a 6-2 margin.

The Titans will hit the road to for their next action against the Dayton Flyers on Fri. Feb. 18 with a scheduled start time of 4:00 p.m.
