INDIANAPOLIS -- The 2011 Horizon League Championship bracket is now set and the seventh-seeded Detroit Titans will host the 10th-seeded Crusaders of Valparaiso in the first round on Monday. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m., at historic Calihan Hall.

Detroit (12-17, 6-12 HL) split the regular season with Valparaiso (7-23, 4-14 HL) as each team defended its home court. The Titans defeated Valpo, 68-52, back on Jan. 6 as four Titans scored in double figures, led by sophomore Cherridy Thornton's 18 points. The Crusaders then took a 57-46 decision on Feb. 5 as VU held UDM to just 23 percent shooting in the game.

The winner will face No. 2 Butler on Wednesday in the quarterfinals.

The other first-round match on Monday will have No. 8 Loyola hosting No. 9 Youngstown State, with the winner advancing to play No. 1 Green Bay.

The other seeds, who have byes in the opening round, are No. 3 Cleveland State, No. 4 Wright State, No. 5 Milwaukee and No. 6 UIC. The Vikings and Flames will meet in the quarterfinals as will the Raiders and Panthers.

Every tournament game can be seen live on the Horizon League Network with the championship game televised live on ESPNU on Sunday, Mar. 13, at 1:00 p.m.
