ORLANDO, Fla. -- Episode two of the Golf Channel's hit reality television show Big Break Indian Wells was aired yesterday, May 23, and 2010 Titan graduate David Byrne showed off some of his impressive golf skills as he advanced to next week's third episode.

Fans who missed the second episode – titled “Money Makes the World Go 'Round” - can catch the reruns on the Golf Channel. Episode two will run today at 5 p.m., and tomorrow at 8 p.m. On Saturday, May 28, Titan fans can see the first two episodes all over again at either 3:30, or 9:30 p.m., and again on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.

The third installment of Big Break Indian Wells will air next Monday at 9:00 p.m. For a full Big Break television schedule, click here. (all times listed as EST)

Byrne and the remaining 10 contestants started the show with the Flop Wall challenge as each player had to pitch their ball over a wall and on the green as close to the pin as possible. Contestants that did not make it on their first shot could buy a chance at a second. The top four players who put their ball closet to the pin moved on to episode three, while the remaining six players competed against each other in a match-play situation.

Byrne got his first shot over the wall and about 23 feet away, but he would end up out of the top four and have to play the second challenge to avoid the elimination round. Just like in episode one, he was pitted against U.S. Marine Russell Normandin as they battled in the “Drive and Approach Challenge”.

They played the drivable par 4, 12th hole on the Celebrity Course of Indian Wells, and Byrne would end up easily advancing as he put his drive right on the green, while Normandin found himself off in some rough. Normandin's pitch out of the rough was too far away from the hole and Byrne put his put close to win and move on.

The second episode saw the elimination of another player - Robert Floyd, the son of PGA Tour great Raymond Floyd – as now nine players remain alive to become the champion of Big Break Indian Wells.

The Big Break is a 10-episode series that was shot at Indian Wells Golf Resort in Indian Wells, CA. It started with 11 contestants competing for a chance to earn as much as $55,000 in cash prizes as well as the grand prize of receiving an exemption to a 2012 PGA TOUR event, the Zurich classic of New Orleans. Other prizes for the winner include a paid trip for two back to the Indian Wells Golf Resort, an Adams golf endorsement deal, 10,000 cash, and a 10,000 Shopping spree to Dicks Sporting goods.
