ORLANDO, Fla. -- Former Titan MVP and Horizon League Player of the Year David Byrne has the chance of a lifetime when he competes on the Golf Channel's Reality Show, The Big Break, and the new season is just around the corner with the preview show set for this Sunday, May 8.

The show will air on the Golf Channel at 9:00 p.m., with the season premier scheduled for Monday, May 16, at 9:30 p.m. To view Byrne's bio for the show, click here.

The 10-episode series was shot at Indian Wells Golf Resort in Indian Wells, CA. It will feature 11 contestants with who will compete for a chance to earn as much as $55,000 in cash prizes as well as the grand prize of receiving an exemption to a 2012 PGA TOUR event, the Zurich classic of New Orleans. Other prizes include a paid trip for two back to the Indian Wells Golf Resort, an Adams golf endorsement deal and 10,000 cash and a 10,000 Shopping spree to Dicks Sporting goods.
