DETROIT – The summer camp season around the Titan campus continued as the men's lacrosse team hosted a very successful team camp on Saturday on Titan Field.
Over 10 programs from the Metro Detroit area camp to the main University's campus and with each team showcasing a roster of over 20, that meant more than 200 took part in the excitement. The Titan coaching staff was on hand talking to the teams, as they squared off in halves with running clock.
To help get all the games in and for no program to be shortchanged, both Titan Field and the auxiliary grass playing field next to the Titan Tennis complex were used.
“The summer camp season is a great way for these kids to come out and play and show their skill on a college campus,” said assistant coach and camp director Chris Kolon “Also, with a lot of these teams, kids and parents from the suburbs, it is the first time that they are on campus and it is a great way to show them what the University has to offer."
