THE DETROIT-LOURDES SERIES
This is the first career meeting between Detroit and Lourdes, a member of the NAIA that is located just outside Toledo.

UDM VS. NON DIVISION I SCHOOLS
Detroit is 37-5 all-time against non-Division I schools, but the match-up with Lourdes is the first versus a non-D I opponent since the Titans cruised past Marygrove, 68-27, on Dec. 27, 2010.

The last loss by UDM to a non-division I school was on Nov. 30, 1987, as the Titans fell to Lake Superior State, 84-53.

AGAINST THE BUCKEYE STATE
Detroit is 113-108 all-time against schools from the state of Ohio.

While the Titans have enjoyed success against the Horizon League schools based in the Buckeye State (73-42 against Cleveland State, Wright State, Youngstown State), Detroit is 40-66 against non-conference Ohio schools.

UDM had lost 14-straight to non-conference Ohio based schools coming into the season, but ended that streak with a 65-53 win at Ohio last Sunday.

UDM IS A RUDE HOST
UDM is 2-0 at home this season and has won eight-straight games on Dick Vitale Court dating back to last year.

The eight-straight wins in the Motor City are the most since it had eight during the 2009-10 season. Prior to that, the longest winning streak UDM had at home was 10-straight during the 1996-97 campaign.

The school record is 17 consecutive victories, which was rolled up during the 1985-86 and 1986-87 seasons.
In Detroit's history, the Titans have compiled six home winning streaks of 11 games or more.

MORE ON CALIHAN MAGIC
Over a longer stretch of time, the Titans have posted a 14-3 ledger in their last 17 home games dating back to the 2010-11 campaign.

Detroit was 11-3 at home last season and is now 29-11 in their last 40 home games after defeating WMU at home on Nov. 28.

UDM is also 37-22 in Calihan Hall since head coach Autumn Rademacher returned to her alma mater in 2008.

In 35 years of play in the Motor City, the Titans have enjoyed a 265-143 (.634) home court record.

THIRD-STRAIGHT GAME IN DOUBLES
Sophomore Shareta Brown recorded her third-straight double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds at Ball State. The streak is the longest of her career as she had twice posted double-doubles in back-to-back games as a freshman.

During this stretch, she tallied 19 points and 15 boards at Ohio and 35 points with 11 boards against Western Michigan.

She also has a double-double in four of her last five games if you go back to her 16-point, 15-rebound effort against #6/7 Penn State.

In her career, she has 16 double-doubles.

#WHAT CAN BROWN DO 4 YOU
Sophomore Shareta Brown's offensive game has her among the nation's leaders as she is currently top 10 in the country in scoring at 22.9 points per game.

Brown already has a pair of 30-point games on the year with 34 at Eastern Michigan and a career-high 35 points against Western Michigan. Those two performances are top 14 in the country with her 35 against WMU tied for 11th and her 34 at EMU tied for 14th.

The 35 points were the most by a Titan since Molly Peterman had 35 against UIC in 2002.

In her career, Brown is averaging 18.9 ppg., and has already scored 794 points in just 42 games.

FAMBRO STEPPING UP
Senior Demeisha Fambro has been a huge part of the offense in the last five games, coming away with double-digit scoring efforts four times, including three straight.

The three-straight games in double figures is the second longest of her career behind four-straight to open up her sophomore season.

She started with 17 off the bench against #6/7 Penn State and then posted a season-high 18 points on 8-of-13 shooting, while tying her career-best with nine rebounds against WMU.

In last Sunday's win at Ohio, she had a personal 9-0 run that got Detroit back in front and sparked a 22-3 spurt. She ended that game with 17 points as well as seven boards, and is coming off a 15-point performance at Ball State.

On the year, Fambro is averaging 11.3 ppg. - tied for second on the team - including 13.8 ppg., in the last five games.

TITANS HOIST SCHOOL RECORD
It may not have been the school record it wanted, but Detroit set a new school mark with 31 three-point attempts last Thursday at Ball State. In the game, UDM connected on eight treys as 31 of its' 65 shots were from behind the arc.

The previous record for three's was 30 set six times.

COACH RADEMACHER APPROACHING THIRD PLACE
Head coach Autumn Rademacher has already accomplished a tremendous amount as a player and coach at Detroit and she is nearing another milestone.

She currently has 66 career victories and is just four behind Sue Kreszewski (1977-80) for third place in school history.

Fred Procter (1990-96) leads UDM with 93 wins, while DeWayne Jones (1983-90) is at 91.

The day will start with a 2:00 p.m., tip against Madonna and all alumni will be honored at halftime of the game. There will also be a special recognition at the half for the late Titan great Lisa Blackburn, who passed away in May.

Following the game, a reception will be held in the Titan Club for all the alums and guest as the teams from the past get together to talk about their favorite Titan memories.

SHAYOK NEARING 1000
Senior Yar Shayok is now 38 points away from becoming the 17th player in school history to reach 1,000-career points.
Shayok is currently 18th in school history with 962 points and is looking to pass former teammate Sandi Brown (983) on her way to reaching the 1,000-point barrier.

The fifth-year senior – who redshirted after playing just two games as a freshman due to a foot injury – is averaging 7.6 points this season and 9.1 points per game in her career.

She tallied 7.2 ppg, last season and had her best year to date as a redshirt freshman recording 11.8 ppg.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HOME & AWAY
While Detroit is 10-2 at home against non-conference foes in its last 12 games, UDM is 7-19 on the road against non-league opponents since 2008.

SHAYOK'S BLOCK PARTY
Senior Yar Shayok recorded one block at Ball State and that was all she needed to fully pass Nicole Anaejionu (2001-04) for fourth in school history with 92 blocks.

She is now 34 behind Nina Rouser (126, 1993-97) for fourth place in Titan history.

LET'S PLAY MORE
Detroit played its first overtime game of the season at Ball State on Dec. 6, falling 73-64.

UDM was 2-0 last year, but the loss dropped the Titans to 13-13 all-time in overtime games and 4-5 under head coach Autumn Rademacher.

WHO SHOT THAT?
Two Titan forwards have recently drained a 3-pointer, leaving the defense in awe of the all-around game they bring.

Shareta Brown had missed her first eight collegiate three-point attempts before connecting on one at Ball State, while with her 3-pointer against #6/7 Penn State on Nov. 23, senior Yar Shayok recorded her sixth career trifecta, and the first since last year against Howard, a span of 34 games.
