Wisconsin Road Trip Closes With Milwaukee Victory

Match Results

MILWAUKEE -- The Detroit Titans (6-12, 3-5 Horizon League) fell to Milwaukee (13-8, 6-2 HL) Saturday evening in a conference match-up as the regular season came to a close for both teams.

The Detroit pairing of Raina Halabi and Chloe Karoub continued to have success as the No. 2 duo combined to go 6-2 in Horizon League play in the spring after an 8-6 win in the No. 2 position Saturday. The only two defeats in the conference dual-match season came in close losses at Wright State (8-6) and also to UIC (8-5).

The win would not garner any points for the Titans on the evening as the remaining doubles points and all the singles matches went the way of the Panthers.

The Horizon League Tournament is next up for Detroit as the Titans will enter the postseason as the No. 6 seed. The conference tournament will be April 27-29 in Indianapolis at North Central High School with full details including  dates and times to be announced early next week.
