Season Ticketholders Video

DETROIT -- Smiles and laughter could be heard all over the campus of UDM as the Titans hosted a special signing day for season ticketholders and donors on Tuesday evening at the James K. Campbell Complex.

The “Signing Day” gave Titan fans a chance to make their commitment to the 2012 Horizon League Champion men's basketball squad and the 2012 WNIT participant's in the Titan women's basketball team by signing on the dotted line for season tickets and Titan Club membership for the upcoming year.

All of those that came down enjoyed a great cookout with their fellow signees, the Titan athletic staff, men's and women's basketball coaches and players and University of Detroit Mercy President Antoine Garibaldi, while inking their name on a Detroit Titan Letter of Intent (DTLI). As part of the festivities, the signees had a chance to see what it was like to be a Division I athlete as they signed their papers in front of a backdrop with photographers on-site for photo opportunities and video interviews.

The dedicated Titan fans came down to sign their DTLI to make sure they won't miss any of the action this season and they brought friends and family too as new commitments were secured.

Those in attendance heard some great opening remarks about the future and advancement of Titan athletics from University from UDM Associate Vice President & Athletic Director Keri Gaither and Dr. Garibaldi, and were also treated to some great inside scoops on the men's and women's basketball programs from head coaches Ray McCallum and Autumn Rademacher.

The Detroit Athletic Department would like to thank all of those fans who continue to support Titan athletics and looks forward to seeing all those red, white and blue supporters at the Titan Golf Outing, set for Aug. 9. For more information on that event, click here.
