Haleigh Ristovski takes on her sister in Michigan sophomore guard Madison Ristovski with their uncle Dean Ristovski an assistant coach for UDM.
Both players attended University Liggett High School with Madison earning Michigan Miss Basketball in 2012 along with the 2012 Class C Player of the Year and was the No. 1 rated player as a senior. Meanwhile, Haleigh was named All-State as a sophomore, junior and senior and was tabbed the Associated Press Class C Player of the Year in 2013.
The Titans and Wolverines both come into the game with identical 1-2 marks, alternating wins and losses to start the season. UM has dropped games to Bowling Green and Xavier, while defeating Arizona.
UDM is coming off a 103-86 decision at Western Michigan as senior

THE DETROIT-MICHIGAN SERIES
The in-state rivalry dates back to 1978 when Detroit won a 91-86 overtime thriller at home in the first-ever season of Titan basketball. The win started a streak of seven-straight wins, but recently UM has had the upper edge winning eight of the last nine. The lone exception was in 2011 as the red, white and blue led from start to finish in a 67-48 victory in Ann Arbor.
UDM is 6-5 at home against the Wolverines, but Michigan has won the last four in the Motor City. The last home win by the Titans was in 1994, 79-69.
ABOUT THE WOLVERINES
Michigan comes into the game at 1-2 with setbacks to Bowling Green and Xavier and a win over Arizona.
