Off The Court Episode 9 (Brie Wilcox)

Five days and counting before the official start of the women's basketball season and in the latest edition of Off The Court, HLN Detroit's Holly Hedemark talks with junior Brie Wilcox.

Wilcox is in her third year at Detroit, where injuries have limited her time on the court. She is back now and will look to make an impact as a forward who can step outside for a shot and get inside for some tough rebounds. She played in 13 games as a freshman in 2011-12 for the Titans and that was after a stellar prep career that saw her earn Senior and Junior basketball MVP honors. She was a four-time high school all-star who was selected First Team Ontario JUEL in 2011. She played travel ball for Team Ontario, leading the squad to the 2008 and 2011 US/Canada Border Challenge championship and an Ontario Basketball Association Division 1 bronze medal.
