UDM's winning streak is actually at four as it started the run with a road win at Wright State before coming home to defeat Loyola, UIC and Cleveland State. Detroit poured in 96 points – the most in a conference game since 1999 – against the Vikings in a 96-77 win. Four Titans were in double figures, led by senior Yar Shayok's season-high 22 points and 20 from sophomore Shareta Brown.

The four-game winning streak has the Titans at 11-7 overall and tied for second in the Horizon League at 4-2.

Milwaukee started the year alternating wins and losses in its first six games, but has gone just 2-9 in its last 11 to stand at 5-12, 1-4 in the HL.

The Panthers are second in the league in scoring at 67.7 ppg., and top the conference in three-point field-goal percentage (36.3%), but are last in scoring defense (76.0 ppg.) and field-goal percentage defense (44.2%).

UWM is led in scoring by Angela Rodriguez's 14.6 ppg., - sixth in the HL. She is also eighth in assists (3.5) and third with 43 three's. Sami Tucker is second in scoring at 12.4 ppg., and a team-high 6.8 rebounds, while Ashley Green is averaging 12.2 ppg., and 6.4 rpg.

After the game, Detroit will return home for a few days of practice before getting on the bus to face Youngstown State next Thursday, Feb. 7. That game is slated for a 5:15 p.m., start.

THE DETROIT-MILWAUKEE SERIES
The Titans swept both games from Milwaukee last season and have won six of the last seven meetings against the Panthers. Prior to that, Milwaukee won 14 of 16 games between 2002-2009.
Detroit is 8-13 all-time at the Klotsche Center and has won three in a row on the road in the series.

BROWN #3 IN THE NATION
In the latest NCAA stats, released on Friday, sophomore Shareta Brown continues to be among the nation's leaders in scoring and field-goal percentage.

Brown began the week third in the nation in scoring at 23.4 ppg., behind only Jerica Coley of Florida International (24.4) and Georgetown's Sugar Rodgers, Georgetown (23.7). She is also sixth in the country in field-goal percentage hitting 59.2%.

The only Titan to ever lead the nation in a statistical category was Brigid Mulroy back in 2010 as she was first in three-point field-goal percentage (50.5%).

Brown was fifth in the NCAA in field goal percentage (55.9%) last season.

OTHER NATIONAL RANKINGS
UDM has two other players among the top 70 in rebounding as sophomore Shareta Brown is 59th with 9.4 per night, while senior Yar Shayok is 70th pulling down 9.2 per game.

As a team, Detroit is 14th in the country in field-goal percentage (45.3%), 29th in rebounding margin (+7.4), 32nd in scoring (71.4) and 36th in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.0).

The Titans are also top 100 in turnovers per game (47th – 15.0), assists per game (53rd – 15.1), scoring margin (72nd – 8.2) and three-point field goals per game (82nd – 5.8).

OFF THE BENCH, YAR FEELING STRONG
Senior Yar Shayok came off the bench at Cleveland State on Jan. 12 and that proved to be beneficial with double-doubles in two-straight games.

At Cleveland State, she netted a season-high 15 points along with 10 rebounds, while at Wright State, she recorded 12 points, 11 boards and four assists.

Since that game, Shayok has scored in double figures in four of the last five games with a season-high 22 against Cleveland State.

In the last four games, Shayok is averaging 12.2 ppg., 7.4 rpg., and shooting 53.2% (25-of-47).

LONG TIME BETWEEN 20'S
Senior Yar Shayok put in a season-high 22 points against Cleveland State, just her second career 20-point game.

Her last was a career-high 26 at Oakland on Nov. 13, 2009 - a span of 112 games.

GETTING TO 70
The Titans are 36-6 when they score 70 or more - including 8-1 this year - and are also 12-1 (6-0 this season) when they score 80 or more - under head coach Autumn Rademacher.

HIGH-OCTANE OFFENSE
Detroit had 45 points at the half against Cleveland State, the seventh time this year it has scored 40 or more in the first half, while the 51 points in the second half was the third most in any stanza this year behind the 56 against Western Michigan and 53 versus Lourdes - both in the second half.

On the year, UDM has scored 40 or more in either half 13 times.

The 96 points versus Cleveland State was the most points scored by UDM in HL play since tallying 101 in a 116-101 setback at Butler on Jan. 30, 1999, and the most scored in a home conference game since defeating Wright State, 99-60, on Mar. 1, 1997, Coach Rademacher's senior season.

UDM also had 35 field goals in the contest against the Vikings, the sixth time this season it has tallied 30 or more in a game.

Detroit tops the HL in scoring at 72.8 ppg., as well as field-goal percentage (45.8%).

ON A HOT STREAK
Senior Demeisha Fambro poured in a game and season-high 20 points against UIC, and had 13 versus Cleveland State.

It was the fourth career 20-point game for Fambro and her first in Horizon League play.

She has now had one 20-point performance in each of her seasons with her last coming at Ball State last year when netted 21.

Her career high is 25 versus BSU in 2010.

THE MAD HATTER
Junior Megan Hatter finished with a season-high 11 points against Cleveland State and that was after scoring seven points for the second-straight game and tying her career high with nine boards against UIC.

In the last three games, she is averaging 8.3 points and 6.0 rebounds, hitting 10-of-19 (52.6%) from the field.

BACK IN DOUBLES
Senior Demeisha Fambro reached double figures for the 11th time this season and the fifth-straight game with 13 points against Cleveland State.

During this streak, she posted a season-high 20 points against UIC. That came after she had 15 at Wright State 10 at Cleveland State and 16 versus Loyola.

In her last five games, she is tallying 14.8 points on 49.0% shooting (25-of-51), including 52.0% from downtown (13-of-25).

She is currently averaging 10.9 points - second on the team and tied for 16th in the HL - on the season.

SHE'S BACK
Junior Senee Shearer made a successful return to the court at Wright State on Jan. 16, playing 31 minutes and finishing with seven points on a pair of 3-pointers. Shearer even got UDM on the board nailing the game's first shot - a stark contrast from last year when she missed her first 16 three-point attempts.

Since her return, Shearer has notched nine points against Loyola, 15 with three 3-pointers versus UIC and nine against Cleveland State.

Shearer helped the Titans to a 20-win campaign and a trip to the HL Championship last season, but tore her ACL in the title game after scoring 14 points in the first 23 minutes.

She finished second on the team in scoring at 11.1 ppg., last year and was third in the conference in three-point field goals (75) and third in the HL and 59th in NCAA in three-point field goals per game (2.27). Her 75 3-pointers on the season also ranked second all-time on the Titan single-season list.

OFFENSE WINS GAMES, DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS
UDM is currently third in the Horizon League allowing 63.9 ppg., and second holding opponents to just 38.2% shooting.

SHEARER, FAMBRO APPROACHING TOP 10 FOR 3'S
Junior Senee Shearer and senior Demeisha Fambro are currently on the heels of putting their name in the top 10 in school history.

Fambro has 90 career triples, while Shearer is at 89 as both are nearing Terri Ford's (1986-90) and Katie Solner's (2002-06) for 10th-place total of 95.
