SERIES WITH VALPARAISO
This will be the 21st meeting between Detroit and Valparaiso, with the Crusaders owning a 12-8 lead. Valpo won the first meeting this season 89-88 on Jan. 17 at Calihan Hall. The loss snapped the Titans' 17 game home winning streak as well as Detroit's 22 game winning streak when scoring 80 or more points. Detroit's last win over the Crusaders was a 70-50 topping in the 2012 Horizon League Championship game at the ARC.
ABOUT THE CRUSADERS
Seniors Matt Kenney and Kevin Van Wijk combined for 25 of Valparaiso's 34 second-half points as the Crusaders never trailed in a tight 68-61 road win at Wright State Tuesday evening in Horizon League play.
With the win, the Crusaders remain 1.5 games up on Detroit in the league standings, which also won on Tuesday night, and are now 2.5 games clear of Wright State while also holding the tiebreaker over the Raiders. The win also was the 20th of the season for Valpo, which now owns a 20-6 overall record and has won at least 20 games in 13 of the last 20 seasons, including each of the last three years.
Valpo out-rebounded the Raiders 31-27 and overcame a 4-of-16 effort from behind the arc, going 19-of-31 (61.3%) from 2-point range and 18-of-20 (90%) from the foul line.

Nick Minnerath and junior
Jason Calliste average 14.6 ppg and 14.2 ppg, respectively.

BEST PERFORMANCE OF THE DECADE?
Detroit junior guard
Ray McCallum scored 16 points with 13 rebounds, eight assists and four steals in Titans win over Cleveland State on Tuesday. According to Ryan Feldman of ESPN Stats & Info McCallum was the first player with at least 16 points, 13 rebounds, eight assists and four steals in a regulation game since Connecticut 's Ben Gordon recorded 17 points, 16 rebounds, 11 assists and five steals vs. Iona in December 2003.
CLIMBING THE CHARTS
Ray McCallum currently leads the Titans in three categories this season scoring (18.8 ppg), assists (4.6 apg), and steals (1.9 spg.) and is also climbing up the career record board in all three. McCallum has 1,490 points (13th), 424 assist (7th) and 161 steals (3rd) in his career. The last Titan to rank among the top-10 in all three of those categories was Rashad Phillips '01. Phillips finished his spectacular career with 2,319 points (1st), 548 assists (4th) and 190 steals (2nd). McCallum needs 112 points to reach that plateau.
ALL ALONE
