2013 NIT Bracket
DETROIT (3/17/13) – The University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball team has qualified for the postseason for the second-straight season and will square off against Arizona State in the first round of the 2013 Postseason NIT.
Making the NIT for the seventh time in school history and reaching the postseason for the 13th time overall, the Titans have been tabbed a No. 6 seed in its region and will visit the No. 3 seeded Sun Devils in a first round contest on Wednesday, March 20, at Wells Fargo Arena. Tip-off is slated for 10:00 p.m. ET and the game will be televised nationally on ESPNU.

Detroit (20-12, 12-4 Horizon) and Arizona State (22-12, 9-9 PAC-12) will be meeting for the fourth time on the hardwood, with the Sun Devils leading the all-time series 2-1.
Detroit is 8-13 all-time in 12 postseason appearances overall, including a 5-7 record in six NIT appearances. The Titans advanced to the NIT Final Four in 2001.
