DETROIT (10/22/2014) -- Basketball is literally just around the corner and for the University of Detroit Mercy men's and women's teams, Wednesday was a day to kick back and enjoy celebrity status at the Annual Titan Media Day, held inside historic Calihan Hall.

The media and CAL Club members had the opportunity to come out and listen to a formal press conference - which was broadcast live on ESPN3 - where UDM Director of Athletics Robert C. Vowels, Jr., CBS Radio Detroit General Manager Debbie Kenyon, WADL Detroit General Manager David Bangura along with both head coaches Ray McCallum and Autumn Rademacher '97 took to the podium. Dan Leach the voice of the Titans worked as the emcee.

The announcement was made that there will be an increased number of men's basketball games on the radio on 97.1 FM The Ticket and 1270 AM. The Titans will also have at least 30 men's and women's basketball games on ESPN3, along with 14 men's games televised locally on WADL and Comcast.

After the press conference concluded, the media and both teams moved to Dick Vitale Court to take part in all media requests and interviews.
