UDM Athletics Announces Toy Drive to Benefit Sergeant Santa

DETROIT (12/2/2014) --
The University of Detroit Mercy Department of Athletics has announced a toy drive to benefit Sergeant Santa in conjunction with the Detroit Police Department and WWJ News Radio 950.

Fans that donate one new unwrapped toy will receive a general admission ticket to the Detroit men's basketball home game against Oral Roberts on Tuesday, Dec. 30. The toy drive will run through Saturday, December 13, which also coincides with Detroit's home game against No. 8/10 Wichita State.

All toys may be turned in at the UDM Athletic Office located inside historic Calihan Hall. Be sure to also pick up your ticket voucher when you turn in your toy.

Toys will benefit the Sergeant Santa cause to be given to deserving children in the Metro Detroit area. There is no age restriction on the toys, however the toys must be new and unwrapped.
