Paris Bass has been named the Horizon League Freshman of the Week for the second consecutive week following his strong performances against Maryland-Eastern Shore, Toledo and Bowling Green.

Bass garnered freshman of the week honors for the second time after averaging 14.0 points per game and 7.3 rebounds per contest in three games. He opened the week with 11 points and a team-high six rebounds in Detroit's 69-55 win over Maryland-Eastern Shore. The next night, he had his first career double-double recording 14 points and 10 rebounds as the Titans defeated Toledo – ranked 10th in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top-25 Poll – 82-79. Bass also had four assists, one steal and one blocked shot and was named to the Progressive Legends Classic All-Tournament team.

Bass finished the week with a career-high 17 points and a career-best four steals as Detroit fell to Bowling Green on a buzzer-beater, 64-63.

Detroit (4-3) returns to Dick Vitale Court tonight (Monday, Dec. 1) versus Aquinas College before closing the week by hosting South Florida.
