Trinity Donates 500 Tickets to Local Community Groups

DETROIT (12/9/14) – Trinity Transportation, the official team ground transportation of the University of Detroit Mercy Department of Athletics, has purchased and donated 500 tickets to Saturday's men's basketball matchup against nationally-ranked Wichita State.

Trinity became an official partner of UDM in September after sponsoring the Metro Series, a rivalry cup between the Oakland Golden Grizzlies and Detroit Titans.  They continue to support Titan Athletics by helping the local community.  As part of their ongoing effort to make a positive impact in the Metro Detroit area, Trinity recently purchased 500 tickets to be distributed to local schools and community groups.

Palmer Park Elementary, GESU, Dossin and Edison Elementary schools will all be receiving tickets for students who signed up for the free, Detroit Junior Titans program.  For more information on the Detroit Junior Titans program visit www.detroittitans.com/juniortitans.

Tickets have also been provided to Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Detroit.  Former legendary Detroit men's basketball coach, Perry Watson, a parishioner of Pine Grove, will also be honored during the game as one of the newest inductees into the Titan Hall of Fame.

In addition, former players Jermaine Jackson and the Jermaine Jackson Community Center, and Rashad Phillips and his academy Skillz Unlimited will also be receiving tickets compliments of Trinity Transportation.
