INDIANAPOLIS (4/14/2014) – The 2014 National Championship went to the University of Connecticut and with the 2013-14 season officially in the books, the final NCAA statistics were released with senior
Senee Shearer among the national leaders.
Shearer was sixth in the country with 3.23 three-point field goals per game, which also led the Horizon League. Her 97 treys on the year set a new school record and was tied for 14th in Division I.
The 2014 Titan MVP was also 42nd in the country, and third in the Horizon League, in points per game (19.5) and was 79th tallying 586 total points, the third most in school history.
The Second Team All-Horizon League selection recently took part in the 2014 Nashville Combine to show her skills in front of agents and scouts from the WNBA, International European Women's Professional Basketball Leagues, the Women's Blue-Chip Basketball League (WBCBL) and International Basketball Federation (FIBA).
