Coach Blanton was called out by Cleveland State associate women's basketball coach Bernard Scott and the Titan coach took it head on, literally, with two huge buckets of ice cold water dumped on her by a couple of UDM student athletes and staff members.

Coach Blanton also issued the challenge to Ohio head coach Bob Boldon, Minnesota assistant coach John Motherwell, Niagara assistant coach Brittany Parker and moved it to the high school level by shouting out the first person to give her a job in Toledo Notre Dame girls basketball head coach Travis Galloway.

On the player's side, freshman Haleigh Ristovski was called out by Michigan's Danielle Williams and she went through with the challenge in the rain. In turn, Ristovski called out U-M senior Cyesha Goree and Oakland sophomore Olivia Nash.
