2014-15 Non-Conference Schedule
DETROIT (8/29/14) – The time is now set for the University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball game against Wichita State during Hall of Fame weekend (Dec. 13) as Detroit announced today (Friday, Aug. 29) that the game will be aired at 12 p.m. ET on ESPNU at historic Calihan Hall.
This marks the second non-conference game of the season that the Titans will be featured on ESPN networks. The Detroit/Oregon game scheduled for Monday, Nov. 17, in Eugene, Oregon, will also be televised live on ESPNU as part of the ESPN College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon.
The Titans and Shockers will be meeting for the 21st time with Wichita State leading the all-time series 13-7. The Shockers won the last meeting 94-79 at Charles Koch Arena as part of the 2013 ESPN BracketBusters. Detroit's last win over the Shockers was an 82-75 topping in Motown during the 1956-57 season.
UDM will induct seven members into its Athletics Hall of Fame on Friday, Dec. 12, as part of the Hall of Fame weekend. The Class of 2014 includes: Perry Watson (coach), Lisa Blackburn (basketball), Lee Knorek (basketball), Mary Latham (Parker) (soccer), Jorge Ferreira (soccer), Kim Hemstreet (cross country) and the 1972 NCAA National Championship men's fencing team.
The honorees will be inducted on Friday, Dec. 12, before being honored during halftime of the Titans' basketball game against Wichita State.

Jarod Williams to the court this season. Detroit will also welcome three-point sharp shooter
Anton Wilson along with Southfield natives
Carlton Brundidge and
