DETROIT (1/23/2015) -- The University of Detroit Mercy Athletic Department has announced that head women's basketball coach Autumn Rademacher '97 has been suspended for violations of NCAA rules pertaining to countable hours for student-athletes.
 
Coach Rademacher will serve a five-day suspension from Jan. 23-27 and will miss Saturday's home game against Green Bay, returning to the sidelines on Jan. 28 when UDM plays at Youngstown State.
 
During this period, assistant coach Rick Albro will serve as the interim head coach.
 
Detroit considers the matter closed and will have no other comment on the matter.
