OLEAN, N.Y. (11/23/2015) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball wraps its first road trip of the 2015-16 season Tuesday evening, playing at St. Bonaventure in a non-conference contest. The game against the Bonnies, an Atlantic 10 opponent, is set for a 5 p.m. tip at the Reilly Center. The game is being streamed for free on Atlantic10.com.
The Titans (0-3) are coming off a loss to the No. 8-ranked team in the country, Maryland, on Friday. Junior guard
Rosanna Reynolds led the Titans in scoring for the third-straight contest, tallying 15 points against the Terrapins. Sophomore guard
Nicole Urbanick also scored in double figures for the third-straight game, posting 10 points for Detroit.
Following its game against the Bonnies, Detroit returns home for four-consecutive contests, beginning with a Thanksgiving weekend matchup against Niagara on Sunday, Nov. 29 at Calihan Hall.

Titans Fall Against No. 8-Ranked MarylandDetroit went against the No. 8-ranked squad in the nation on Friday morning, falling at Maryland, 97-41. Even in the loss, the Titans showed great fight and improvement against a Final Four squad from last season.
Detroit trailed just 14-8 late in the first quarter following a
Haleigh Ristovski triple before Maryland scored the final eight points of the stanza. The Titans tallied 11 points in each of the final three quarters of the contest.
The Titans were the first team in 2015-16 to hold Maryland under the 100-point plateau. Detroit forced the Terrapins into seven first-half turnovers and 11 for the game. UDM had the edge in offensive boards in the first half (6-5), while turning the ball over just eight times in the final three quarters of the game.
It was Detroit's second Big Ten opponent in the first three games of the year. The Titans fell to Michigan in the second game of the season, 88-61. Detroit also plays at Michigan State on Dec. 21 before the holiday break.
All-Time SeriesThe meeting with the Bonnies is just the second between the two programs. The Titans hosted St. Bonaventure last season, falling 68-56 to SBU on Nov. 22, 2014.
Last Time vs. BonniesNicole Urbanick (11 points) and
Rosanna Reynolds (10 points) were among three Titans in double figures the last time Detroit played St. Bonaventure. Urbanick was 3-of-7 from downtown, while Reynolds hit two triples.
The Titans hit eight 3's in the game and held the edge in steals (8-2) and assists (11-9) over the Bonnies.
Haleigh Among Horizon League LeadersJunior
Haleigh Ristovski is among the Horizon League leaders in rebounding early on in the season. Ristovski has 28 rebounds (9.3 boards per game) through three games, including a career-best 13 in the season opener vs. Bradley.
Twenty-seven (27) of her 28 rebounds are on the defensive end. As of Monday, she ranks fifth in the league with her 9.3 rebounds per contest average. She also leads the league in minutes player per game (38.7).
Rosie Nears 1,000Reynolds, with 810 career points, is within range of becoming the 20th player in Detroit women's basketball history to reach the 1,000-point plateau. She surpassed the 800-point mark in the Maryland game.
Reynolds, just a junior, is 190 points away from that mark. The last Titan to reach the 1,000-point milestone was Senee Shearer in 2013-14. Reynolds has led the Titans in scoring in all three games so far during the 2015-16 campaign.
Three's CompanyThe Titans had four players reach 40 or more 3-pointers made during the 2014-15 season. Three of those players are back this year -- Reynolds (59 triples), Ristovski (51) and Urbanick (40). The trio combined for 150 of the 221 triples Detroit made a season ago.
Ristovski (eight), Urbanick (seven triples) and Reynolds (six) have already combined for 21 three-pointers through three games this season. Reynolds moved into a tie for 14th all-time in triples against Maryland and has 92 makes from downtown in her Titan career. Ristovski is 16th all-time with 80 triples.
As a team, Detroit ranks third in the conference in 3-pointers made per game (8.3). The Titans trail just Oakland (13.3) and Green Bay (9.0) following the first two weeks of the season.
Strong Start for LolaThe younger Ristovski is quickly making a name for herself, tallying 18 points in three games and making her first collegiate start at Maryland.
Lola Ristovski is a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line and has added eight rebounds, three assists, three steals and one block.
Block PartyDetroit ranks second in the HL with 4.3 blocks per game, following last weekend's games. UDM has 14 blocks in three games so far.
Rosanna Reynolds tallied three blocks in each of the first two games, while
Haleigh Ristovski has posted at least one block in every game this year. She had two blocks in Friday's contest against Maryland.
Reynolds Selected Preseason First Team All-LeagueJunior guard
Rosanna Reynolds was picked to the Preseason All-Horizon League First Team and was one of three juniors named to the First Team. Reynolds, who was a Second Team All-Horizon League honoree last year as a sophomore, led the Titans with 15.7 points and 3.4 assists per game last year. She was second in the Horizon League in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.4) and fourth in three-pointers per game (2.0) and three-point percentage (37.8).
Titans Picked to Finish SeventhDetroit was picked to finish seventh as the 2015-16 Horizon League preseason poll was released by the league office on Nov. 4. In the preseason poll, Detroit earned 157 points overall and finished just five votes out of fifth place. Fifth-place Oakland (162 points) and Cleveland State (161 points), who received one first-place vote, placed just in front of the Titans.
Reigning league champion Green Bay was picked to finish first in the conference and received 25 of the 31 first-place votes. Wright State received four first-place votes and was selected to place second. UIC, Youngstown State and the Golden Grizzlies rounded out the top five.
Up NextFollowing the two-game road trip, the Titans return home for four-straight games, beginning with a Sunday, Nov. 29 game against Niagara at 12 p.m.
Detroit then hosts Cincinnati (Dec. 2), Salem International (Dec. 5) and IPFW (Dec. 9) at Calihan Hall. The Titans have just two more road games before the New Year, traveling to Western Michigan on Dec. 12 and Michigan State on Dec. 21.
