DETROIT (12/20/2015) -- Fans, the University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball game against UIC on Friday, Jan. 8, has officially been set for 9:00 p.m., announced ESPN.

ESPN also announced that the game will be broadcast live on ESPNU. 

Detroit has won four in a row as it closes out the 2015 year with road games at Western Kentucky (Dec. 22) and Eastern Michigan (Dec. 28). 

The Titans will begin 2016 with five-straight home games starting with a men's and women's doubleheader against Youngstown State (Jan. 2) and Cleveland State (Jan. 4). 

The televised UIC ESPN match-up is Jan. 8 and another televised game follows as the Jan. 10 contest against Valparaiso will be on the American Sports Network.

The homestand comes to an end in grand style as the #MetroSeries takes center stage with Oakland visiting historic Calihan Hall on Jan. 16.
