Urbanick made her eighth 3-pointer midway through the fourth quarter. She had seven through the first three quarters. Urbanick's single-game record for 3-pointers made tied Daphne Smith's performance in 1987. Smith also sank eight triples against Butler on Jan. 10 that season.
Detroit made 15-of-20 free throws and shot 51.6 percent in the second half, highlighted by Urbanick's 8-of-10 shooting clip.
Urbanick's Career NightUrbanick reached 30 points for the first time in her career with her 32-point effort against Eastern Michigan. Her 17-point quarter is the high for a Titan player this season, surpassing the 14-point quarter she had against Salem International. Urbanick's previous career high was 24 points earlier this season.
Urbanick's 32 points is also tied for the most in the Horizon League for a single game this season with Wright State's Kim Demmings. Her 32 points is the most by a Titan since
Rosanna Reynolds tallied 33 points at IPFW in December 2014.
The Divine Child HS graduate ranks first in the Horizon League in 3-pointers made per game (2.8). Following her eight 3-pointers made against Eastern Michigan, Urbanick is also tied for 19th all-time in Detroit women's basketball history with 71 makes.
